The existing rectory at St. John Church in Jackson had served the parish for many years. However, the building, while still a sound masonry structure was no longer suitable for purpose. Achieving greater energy inefficiency and meeting the changing needs of the occupants became paramount. Working with the residents, the parish and the Diocese led to this efficient and effective building that still suits the functions needed by the residents and the parish and sits comfortably with the historic church.
