The Jackson County Tower building was originally designed during the boom of the 1920s as a bank. Over the years the 2 nd floor banking room fell victim to water damage and glass breakage. It fell to Woodard and Associates to provide design assistance in the effort to restore the stained glass and the plaster decoration of the ceilings. At this date the 2 nd floor is being used as a gathering space weddings and other related uses, and a very effective one at that.
